In short
How we ensure quality
Every Vitality batch is manufactured in the UK and independently tested by an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory for identity, potency and purity. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is available on request for every batch. We do this because, with supplements, the only way to know what's truly in the bottle is to test it — and to have that testing done by an accredited, independent lab rather than just taking a supplier's word.

Our quality process

  1. Ingredient sourcing

We source ingredients to recognised quality and purity standards, and choose well-characterised forms — for example, more bioavailable formats where the evidence supports them.

  2. UK manufacturing

Our products are manufactured in the UK, where production is held to established quality-management practices.

  3. Independent batch testing

Every batch is tested by an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory — independent of us — for identity, potency and contaminants. Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 is the international benchmark for a testing lab's competence.

  4. Certificate of Analysis

Each batch's results are documented in a Certificate of Analysis, which we make available on request so you can verify exactly what you're taking.

  5. Traceability

Batches are traceable, so any question about a specific product can be tied back to its test results.

Why it matters

In-house vs independent testing

Not all "tested" supplements are equal. Some brands rely only on a supplier's self-reported figures; others test in-house. The strongest standard is independent, third-party testing by an accredited laboratory — because the lab has no commercial stake in the result and its competence is formally verified.

That's the standard we hold ourselves to. Testing every batch with an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited lab, and offering the COA on request, means our quality claims are verifiable, not just stated. You can learn the underlying terms in our glossary.

What we test for

Every batch is checked for

  • Identity — confirming the ingredient is exactly what the label says.
  • Potency — confirming the active is present at the stated dose.
  • Purity & contaminants — screening for unwanted substances such as heavy metals and microbial contamination.
  • Consistency — ensuring batch-to-batch reliability so what you reorder matches what you had before.

ISO/IEC 17025 is the international standard for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. A lab accredited to it has demonstrated it can produce valid, reliable results — so testing done there carries real weight. More in our glossary.
